A disease is an abnormal condition or impairment of the normal state or living that can affect the body of a living animal, plant, or one of its body parts. Diseases, often called sicknesses or illnesses, can be set off by environmental influences, infectious means, or genetic defects. These sicknesses are characterized by specific symptoms or signs such as pain, dysfunction, other problems, or death. There are four categories of disease including pathogenic disease, deficiency disease, hereditary disease, and physiological disease of which can be either communicable or non-communicable. Disease antibodies are used to bind against antigens that are known to cause a disease and thus somehow identify or alter their presence or form of action.
Anti-Cortisol Binding Globulin antibody is the antibody to cortisol binding globulin. This cortisol binding globulin antibody is useful in research areas involving certain types of cancer. Cortisol binding globulin is a major transport protein for glucocorticoids and progestins in the blood of almost all vertebrate species. It is synthesized in the liver and found in the plasma of the blood. Defects in cortisol binding globulin can cause corticosteroid-binding globulin deficiency. CBG deficiency is a genetic disorder causing a deficiency in the production of corticosteroid-binding globulin. Affected individuals suffer from fatigue and blood pressure problems, although some sufferers report no symptoms at all. Histamine receptor 1 antibody binds against the histamine receptor protein. This receptor is a G-protein coupled receptor that mediates the contraction of smooth muscles, increases capillary permeability due to contraction of terminal venules, neurotransmission in the central nervous system, and catecholamine release from the adrenal medulla. Histamine receptor 1 belongs to the H1 subclass of histamine receptors and is found in peripheral tissues in the cell membrane.
